Still urgent, even with the Oklahoma City Thunder in possession of a 15-point second-half lead, the do-it-all big man sacrifices his body, pairing his pickpocket of Pascal Siakam with a head-first dive to the floor for a steal. 14 seconds later, Hartenstein’s theft went rewarded through a teammate’s 3-pointer, one of the many plays that helped catapult the Thunder’s series-tying win. June 8, 2025 became a workmanlike day for Hartenstein, who finished among the elites in hustle-based playoff statistics such as: screen assist points (187, 1st), deflections (40, 14th), loose balls recovered (10, 18th), and shot contests (142, 4th). Said intangibles helped complement his three-point, eight-rebound, four-assist, one-steal evening, as the Thunder moved to within three games of a championship.
