A dynamic open-floor presence throughout October 24, 2024’s season-opening win, Wiggins — helping engineer Oklahoma City’s fast-paced start in more ways than one — hunts down a teammate’s rebound tap, immediately shifting his focus to the fastbreak. First utilizing a right-to-left, continually-weaving dribble that keeps Michael Porter Jr. on his heels, Wiggins eventually pivots into a nifty spin move before guiding an outstretched layup through, pushing a late-game lead to 18. In a statement-making win over the Denver Nuggets, the always-efficient Wiggins was a factor, tallying 15 points (on seven-of-nine), six rebounds, one assist, and a 3-pointer.
