Veteran-like in his lane-filling run down the floor, Baugh eventually finds himself unguarded along the right 3-point corner with a teammate unselfishly eyeing an opportunity to feed him. Shooting first and asking questions later, Baugh elevates into a silky-smooth triple before Paolo Banchero can imitate a contest, introducing himself to the Charlotte Hornets’ regular-season scene in style. The Orlando Magic, living up to their status as 11.5-point favorites, ultimately found their way, dealing Charlotte a loss on February 12, 2025. Baugh, though, bordered on sensational in his first cameo, collecting 16 points (on five-of-eight shooting), five rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers, setting the stage for a six-of-seven shooting encore just a week later.
