Jae'Sean Tate

Jae’Sean Tate worked hard to find his shot — so he had to ensure it was one to remember. The third-year Houston Rockets forward rose to the challenge against the vaunted Boston Celtics, first bypassing Jayson Tatum with some crafty handles before coming face-to-face with known defensive disruptor Al Horford. Tate dribbled and spun his way into the lane with a persistent Horford giving chase, and with the shot clock winding down he connected on a left-handed hook shot. Tate tallied 10 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 24 minutes off the bench as the Rockets landed a 111-109 upset win on March 13, 2023.
